Wanna Bet? You can exploit HoH just as much as anywhere, you can Fame Farm with a FOTM build that requires no actual skill, you can pay others to battle for u, you can exploit any bugs that occasionally pop up. You can make a build thats designed just to annoy the other team until they leave. Perhaps you cant always 'cheat' to a holding level but u can still cheat enough to gain you fame.

hahahah, thanks, i dont think ive laughed that hard for ages. Theres no physical way of getting KoaBD in a week, not even if you play 24/7 for the whole week, there physically isnt enough time. Sounds like you clearly have never attempted it getting the title.
Once again basically the majority (no that doesnt mean everyone) of PvErs like the the majority of PvPrs dont, and the reason being PvPrs dont want to lose there prestige, ie there being better than everyone else. However i would agree the best way to keep things more equal would be to enable PvP'rs to unlock 15k armours for very large amounts of faction and to allow Pvers to have an title set that has an emote (aka KoaBD),

KOBD deserves an emote because it is better than the other PvE titles, one maxes PvE titles in order to get KOBD so it is indeed a title BETTER than the others. That's why it deserves an emote.
Currently I don't see why the Hero title still has an emote linked to it. It's based on HA, and there are now titles linked to every PvP mode, which have a similar LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG progression.

PvP players get emotes even at a low levels starting with the deer. The emote is a large display that is easily seen in towns that people show off with much pride. Personally I don't think that they (PvPers) deserve an emote until they get higher ranking like the dragon and phoenix....but if they get one, I believe us PvE players deserve one as well for one of our titles.
I believe that title should be Kind of a Big Deal because it is completely game related for the most part. Those who get it completely mapped EVERY area that Anet took the time to make and finished every mission and bonus that they developed. This title is earned by completing 5 other titles. This is definately a title one should be proud of and if they just want to show off this accomplishment a bit more with an emote, I am all for it! That small little title under ones name just does not cut it for this title IMHO.
Furthermore, I would love to see a title for someone that finishes all the QUESTS in each game. This would be another major accomplishment for a PvE person and deserves to go towards the Kind of a Big Deal title as well.

I like the idea as well - it's extremely easy NOT to notice a title, which requires that you click on a person in town to see it. This would give PvE players a bit more incentive to complete all 3 campaigns...

Emotes for koabd title track would be nice, they take a lot of time and effort to get.
Im completely stuck at 96% exploration of tyria and can imagine what people with 100% put themselves through. A lot more then IWAY'ing for a bambi/wolf/tiger.

the whole point of the title is to display some level of achievement; why create an emote for it as well?
keep in mind that the rank emotes were initiated before titles, and were effectivly the only way to tell (appx) what rank someone was.
whats next; an emote for having a certain amount of other emotes unlocked?
no thanks.

That's why I said it could also something else then a pet Emote. Just some "visual" Recognition. And I still think it would be best to link it to the gods. Favor, UW, FOW and Dervish forms are related to the gods, and this title track should be too. For instance:
5 titles Kind of a big Deal (1): Shrouded in the cold ooze of Grenth.
10 titles People Know Me (2): Engulfed in the Flames of Balthazar.
15 titles I farm to many titles (3): Wings of dwayana.

KOABD should definitely have an emote but not at the expense of other PVE titles who also deserve emotes too.
Namely, the max Lux and Kurz faction titles and any 100% explored title, all of which should have their own distinct emote too.

Im a full PvEr, of my 8 characters all of em are PvE, and i dont think i made more than 50 PvP battles becuase i just dont freacking like em. My war is at 1 tittle of the KoaBD tittle, it is the main reason why i started maxing tittles, and some people would say being a protector or a GMC is easy, then why dont u just do it? because u dont like PvE as i dont like PvP? i personally think that PvP animations are nice and thy are worth the time players spend on em, so why cant PvE tittles have their own type of animation? we spend the same or more amount of time playing as u guys do. The tittles are a nice add to the game, thy make people work harder to achieve a higher rank of skill, and when i see a KoaBD guy i say this guy knows what his doing and he has my respect for being one, becuase i know how hard it is. SO for it there should some kind of compensation for breaking your ass, and its not like we are asking an emote for every tittle maxed, so stop crying PvPers because u got ur sissy dear a while ago and u still have it for being only rank 3, RANK 3?! is even harder to be level 1 of chest opening. Or even great, why dont thy make halls or type of hall where only people with maxed tittles can enter, now thats a huge motivation. where merchs sell cheaper or anything like that, im sure itll be the new chat spot for people just like grotto. Just sharing and idea i had in time for a while, peace.

I can just imagine the elitism,"show us your KOABD emote or you're kicked out"
I hate the title system, and the rank system.

/signed for some sort of emote/visual recognition
I've worked bloody hard to get this title and would love something pretty to show off for it. It will take me years to earn some of the other ones. For naysayers who complain it would big towns down too much; A bunch of shiny disco balls dont do that? Please.
What I think would be nice:
KOABD: You get a small little effect. Example: When you clap or raise your hands a small little burst of fireworks go off.
PKM: A sustained effect that you can walk around with similar to divine aura. Trigger it and it lasts for a minute.
Next level: A sustained effect that when triggered causes an aura similar to bosses, lasts a few minutes.

If you want an emote, go do HA.
If you can't then just PUG SF groups untill rank 3, is that really hard?
Thats how I got from rank 2-3 when SF came out I just used SF non-ranekd groups. Got there in a few days, now I run balanced.
Emote's should only be for pvp to show how good you are.
There is no skill in PvE, 90% of builds work

I want different kind of emotes tho. Not bambis, wolves or tigers...something else but nifty and jazzy. it is NOT fair that only PvPers getting something glowing that PvE players will never get. I am not whining, I do have glowing emote and it ain't bambi.
